Project Overview:

Warhorse Studios partnered with us to bring their ambitious open-world RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, to life with historically accurate and visually compelling character models. To achieve this, they turned to our high-resolution 3D character scans to ensure authenticity, detail, and efficiency in their production pipeline.

Challenge:

Creating a realistic, historically grounded medieval world meant developing dozens of lifelike characters with accurate human anatomy, clothing folds, and facial features—without compromising on production timelines or realism.

Warhorse needed:

Our Solution:

We provided full-body 3D scans of male and female characters in a variety of poses and garments, tailored for immediate use in character modeling and animation workflows. Our scans included:

  • High-resolution body and face captures

  • Client present in real time during photogrammetry scanning

  • Detailed diffuse texture maps

Each scan was processed to ensure compatibility with Warhorse’s asset pipeline and real-time rendering engine.

Results:

  • Warhorse significantly reduced character modeling time and increased consistency across models.

  • The realism and historical accuracy of the characters became a major selling point of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, frequently praised in reviews and fan feedback.

  • The scans were used as the base for over 40 in-game characters, speeding up production while retaining visual fidelity.
